On her web site it states, “Maria Piscopo is a Creative Services Consultant for Artists, Designers and Photographers and has been working as an art/photo rep for twenty five years. She teaches workshops for artists, designers and photographers at their conferences and professional associations and at various local colleges.” But that doesn’t do justice to the direction, inspiration and encouragement Maria has given to thousands of creative individuals. Maria encouraged me to submit my first short story which was published in “A Second Helping of Chicken Soup for the Soul” and I went on to have two more stories published in the series. And she was the one who directed me to Allworth Press and gave me sage advice as I wrote “How to Grow as a Photographer: Reinventing Your Career.”

I can’t begin to tell you how many people I have met who have told me how much Ian Summers and his Heartstorming workshops and emails have helped them to refocus their creative energies and taken them to a new level of appreciation of their work. I am a great admirer of Ian’s insights, candor, humor and contributions to the world of art and design.
